We're looking for collaborative and technically strong individuals to join our client´s dynamic engineering team. This is your opportunity to play a vital role in shaping next-generation gate driver ICs, contributing to innovative solutions in a rapidly expanding market. As a Gate Driver IC Design Expert or Senior Engineer, you’ll contribute to the definition, design, and implementation of advanced gate driver systems. You’ll work alongside talented engineers, influencing the entire product development lifecycle — from concept to tape-out — while driving high performance, reliability, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and architect next-generation gate driver ICs.
* Lead or contribute to the design, simulation, and optimization of gate driver systems.
* Create system-level models and participate in top-level simulations.
* Define design-for-test methodologies and evaluate performance at various levels (system/sub-system/block).
* Collaborate with layout engineers, offering guidance on critical analog layout practices and verifying post-layout performance through simulation.
* Support EVB (evaluation board) design, test planning, and equipment selection.
* Contribute to technical documentation, internal/external presentations, and reports.
* Keep up with the latest advancements in gate driver technologies and IC processes.

Candidate Qualifications & Experience
* Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering.
* 10+ years of experience in analog/mixed-signal IC design (5+ years for the Senior Engineer role).
* Demonstrated expertise in gate driver or related system design and analysis.
* Strong skills in system modeling and simulation.
* Solid understanding of HV technology, isolated communication, LDOs, ADCs, oscillators, and more.
* Familiarity with modern IC development methodologies, flows, and tools.
* Independent, detail-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
* Proven track record of developing full-chip ICs from requirements to tape-out.
* Commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in design.
* Willingness to relocate to our offices in Flanders region (onsite role only – remote/hybrid not available).
* Experience working in a fast-paced, product-focused R&D environment.
* Technical publications or patents related to gate driver technology or similar fields.
* Hands-on experience in testing gate driver ICs or power device modules.
