IQVIA is expanding its team and seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) based in Belgium to cover Belgium, Netherlands, Switzerland, and the Nordics. Job Overview: In this role, you will:
* Engage with customers across multiple countries through scientific discussions, presentations, and education.
* Provide medical information and responses to complex medical questions from clinicians.
* Offer internal scientific support and training, serving as an expert resource for colleagues.
* Coordinate scientific education activities and participate in events such as Advisory Boards and congresses.
* Support investigators and interact with scientific societies and patient groups.
* Collect and report relevant information to the company, such as competitor information and treatment patterns.
* Contribute to the design and delivery of the Country Medical Plan.
* Gather and report medical and congress intelligence.
* Develop local publications and maintain monthly contact with the Medical Director and HQ Medical team.
* Identify and develop KOLs, providing educational and scientific support as needed.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with the Commercial Department and Country Managers.
Qualifications:
* Scientific degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, MSc, etc.).
* Pharmaceutical industry experience as an MSL in the specified regions.
* Experience in one or more of the following therapy areas: Haematology, Nephrology, Rare Diseases, Immunology, Oncology, Endocrinology, Orthopaedics, or Rheumatology; Biosimilars experience strongly preferred.
* Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
* Fluent in English and at least one other relevant language.
* Based in Belgium with a full driving license and willingness to travel across the specified regions.
