Roles & Responsibilities
We are currently looking for a Director CFO Advisory with a focus on our clients in the Energy Sector to strengthen our enthusiastic CFO Advisory Services Energy team within KPMG Belgium. You will help CFOs and his/her team to become business partners and engage in strategic development to support their operational business by improving the business value and operations of their Finance functions. Your key activities will include:
Project management:
1. Participate in, lead and manage CFO Advisory Services projects;
2. Managing small teams to deliver projects;
3. Supporting clients with practical recommendations and leading practices to improve business and finance processes.
Commercial management:
4. Support business development, from lead identification through to the presentation of pitches and proposals;
5. Support the development of KPMG’s service offerings.
People management:
6. As a performance manager, manage, develop, motivate, train, and coach team members to maximize their potential;
7. Coach and lead team members by example in accordance with KPMG’s quality standards;
8. Develop expertise and knowledge of a variety of clients and markets, and awareness of KPMG’s service offerings;
9. Build on professional qualifications by undertaking relevant functional or sector-specific training;
10. Contribute to project completion review(s) to identify lessons learned and improve future quality and commercial planning.

Skills & Qualifications
11. Master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or other quantitative field; or a Bachelor’s degree with significant experience in the energy sector;
12. Experience in consulting or advisory services within the Energy Sector and comfort in discussing sector related topics, trends and insights with clients;
13. Consulting or advisory services in Finance Transformation, Costing & Profitability Management, Financial Reporting;
14. Significant expertise within financial services, financial process analysis, and process improvement;
15. Experience of managing small teams of 1-5 people;
16. Very strong numerical and analytical skillset with excellent written and verbal communication skills;
17. Good knowledge in Dutch, French and English.
