As Sales Manager based in Brussels, you will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the sales team across the European market. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing, your role will focus on executing the sales strategy, team coordination, and contributing to the companys expansion across the EU with potential for global involvement in the future.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Managing the daily operations of the sales team, ensuring productivity and performance.
* Supporting the implementation of regional sales strategies as directed by the Sales & Marketing Director.
* Providing hands on coaching and guidance to team members to help achieve individual and team targets.
* Recruiting, onboarding, and mentoring new sales representatives to build and strengthen the team.
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships across European markets.
* Identifying opportunities for business development and market penetration.
* Collaborating with the marketing team to align on caigns and promotional efforts.
* Ensuring accurate data entry, pipeline management, and reporting within the companys CRM system.
* Preparing regular performance updates and sales reports for senior management.
* Representing the company at trade shows, networking events, and client meetings in Europe.
* Ensuring compliance with company procedures and relevant sales regulations.
Skills & Experience Required & Preferred
* CRM Management Expertise: Proficient in managing CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), with strong attention to data accuracy, sales pipeline tracking, and reporting.
* MICE Industry Background: Solid understanding of the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) sector, including key trends, client needs, and industry specific sales cycles.
* People Management Experience: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop sales teams, including performance management, team coordination, and coaching.
* English Fluency: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Additional European languages (e.g., French, Dutch, German) are a plus.
* Sales Execution & Development: Demonstrated ability to execute sales strategies, manage client accounts, and close deals in a B2B environment.
* Hiring & Onboarding: Experience participating in the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of sales team members.
