LINCBIOTECH is looking for a skilled and highly motivated antibody engineer to join its team of targeted protein degraders development. The candidate must have the necessary skills to design, modify and optimize monoclonal antibodies against proteins of interest, as well as master the tools and methods to increase the antibody properties and modalities (ph-dependant antigen biding, ADC formats, bi-specifics). This position will require the identification and monitoring of key suppliers, as well as scientific management of research lines focused on the development of extracellular degraders with external collaborators.
At least 2 years in protein engineering is a must.
Requirements:
- Background in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, immunology or biotechnology.
- +2 years of experience in antibody design, discovery and development, including bispecific antibodies and ADCs.
- Experience in engineering antibodies with improved properties (e.g., affinity, solubility, and other attributes related to developability)
- Experience in peptide-antibody, antibody-small molecule bioconjugation techniques.
- Hands-on experience on site-specific conjugation techniques.
- Linker and payload optimization experience.
- Experience in traditional and emerging antibody discovery techniques, such as display technologies (phage, bacterial, yeast, etc.) or in silico discovery and generation with machine learning (ML).
- Experience in efficient cloning processes and enhanced protein expression systems.
- Knowledge of protein purification (IEX, SEC, etc.), affinity determination techniques (SPR, ELISA, flow cytometry, etc.) and biophysical characterization of antibodies, bispecific antibodies and ADCs.
Desired skills:
- PhD in Life Sciences or Chemistry or related disciplines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of antibody-design AI-driven approaches will be valuable.
- Minimum English level of B2.
