Your duties and responsibilities:
1. Promote and maintain strong relationships to ensure adherence to credit control standards.
2. Drive the implementation of processes and new technologies for improved cost reduction and service levels.
3. Develop and confirm credit policies and procedures.
4. Reduce and maintain overdue debts; improve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
5. Manage debtor risk and minimize bad debts.
6. Provide accurate and detailed month-end reporting.
7. Evaluate and review departmental training activities.
8. Enhance services and monitor financial environment changes.
9. Ensure timely delivery of financial reports and updates.
10. Stay updated on trends and innovations within the sector.
11. Actively seek opportunities to enhance departmental profitability.
12. Maintain effective communication within the team and with other departments.
13. Support the organization during high-demand periods.
Ideal profile:
14. Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role with strong familiarity with hotel accounting or operations.
15. Languages: Proficiency in English and French; additional languages are a plus.
16. Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in finance or a related field; certification in accounting or credit management is advantageous.
