We're seeking an exceptional HR Business Partner Associate Director to join our Legal & Regulatory Business Unit for the BeNeLux region. You will provide expert leadership for a broad range of human resources programs, will serve as a transformational leader by leading change and shaping our organization’s culture, will act as a trusted HR partner and contribute to our success.
About the role
As our HR Business Partner Associate Director, you will work closely together with the Divisional VP of HR and you will lead the development and execution of the BU’s human capital strategy in partnership with BU General Manager and BU executive leadership team. You will help us to translate business needs into human capital strategy to support business direction and execute it operationally. In addition to building relationships and developing a deep understanding of the business, you will collaborate with a team of HR functional experts in Centers of Excellence (CoE’s) and Operations to translate business needs into human capital solutions aligned with our enterprise HR priorities and designed to support the achievement of enterprise or business area goals.

People Strategy Advocacy: You'll design and advocate for a dynamic people strategy framework, delivering essential components such as Development, Leadership, Engagement, Reward and Recognition, and Change Management. Your efforts will support our business strategy, nurture our culture, and ensure a high-performance work environment.
4. Strategic Partnership: Collaborating with HR colleagues in Centers of Excellence (CoEs) and Operations, you'll provide subject matter expertise and expert leadership across various areas of HR management. From Performance Management to Organizational Design, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our HR programs to meet evolving business needs.
5. Trusted Advisor: Building "trusted advisor" relationships with key business partners, you'll ensure effective communication with executives and managers company-wide. Your guidance and thought leadership on organizational and people-related strategy will demonstrate strong business acumen and drive success both in HR and across the business.
6. Talent Management Support: You'll lead talent management processes with active leadership, coaching, recruiting, and organizational development activities. From performance reviews to talent cultivation, you'll play a vital role in nurturing our talent pipeline and fostering leadership development.
7. Continuous Improvement: Staying abreast of industry best practices, you'll identify areas for improvement and recommend and implement those best practices to support our corporate goals and development. Your commitment to excellence will drive continuous improvement across our HR practices and beyond.
This position requires some domestic and international travel to meet with stakeholders, up to 25% of your working time.
Your profile
8. Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on driving strategic initiatives and influencing key stakeholders.
9. Proven track record of leadership in shaping organizational culture and driving transformative change.
10. Strong understanding of our business and industry.
11. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build consensus and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
12. Able to guide and coach stakeholders, manage interactions with and between others with the specific goal of providing service and organizational success.
13. Experienced in partnering with a wide range of people at all levels of the organization in a matrix environment, including partnering with HR Shared Services /COE on various HR Business Processes.
14. Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
15. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HRIS platforms like Workday.
16. Fluency in Dutch.
17. Willing to travel to our offices located in Alphen aan den Rijn, Deventer, Venlo, and Mechelen on a frequent basis.
Preferred Qualifications:
18. Master's degree in Human Resources or related field.
19. Experience in B2B or Enterprise Software environments.
20. Previous experience as a people manager and driving organizational development initiatives.
