Onsite IT Support Engineer

Responsibilities:
* Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows, Mac, and authorized desktop software/applications.
* Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot end-user workspace hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, video and conferencing equipment, and peripherals.
* Perform general preventative maintenance on devices and software.
* Follow and execute instructions provided by Subject Matter Experts.
* Provide onsite hands-on support to TCS/Customer/OEM SMEs for installation, upgrades, support, and troubleshooting of devices in the network and compute environment.
* Assist users with logged IT-related incidents.
* Take ownership of issues, perform problem analysis, and implement temporary or permanent fixes to restore service quickly.
* Escalate incidents to other support teams when necessary.
* Accurately record, update, and document requests using the IT service desk system.
* Maintain a high level of customer service, treating all users efficiently and respectfully.
* Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels.
* Work effectively in a team and manage changing priorities.
* Create, maintain, and publish support documentation for end-users.
* Attend training to stay updated on the latest technologies and internal processes.
* Contribute to reporting as required.
* Perform other tasks as assigned, within your skillset.
Required Skills:
* Fluent in English and French (Dutch is a strong plus).
* Good general understanding of IT principles, including networks, hardware, and domains.
* Working knowledge of leading software applications.
* Strong experience in end-user device hardware and software troubleshooting.
* Good working knowledge of operating systems, including Windows and Mac, and related software and applications.
* Awareness of data backup principles.
