Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for the execution of our projects, ranging from small improvements to large industrial constructions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Closely collaborate with clients to identify their needs and preferences.
* Determine conceptual designs in consultation with clients and team members.
* Lead the engineering phase of projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
* Instruct and guide team members, including Designers and CAD Engineers, on project tasks and deliverables.
* Organize and facilitate 3D reviews with clients, technical, and commercial procurement meetings.
* Manage contractors during on-site deliveries and installations.
Role in the Organization
The Industrial Project Engineer typically reports to an experienced Project Manager and works closely with key officers and chain partners. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and excellent communication abilities.
Competences and Characteristics
* Technical background in electromechanics or mechanics of piping.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in English (and/or French/Dutch depending on location).
* Decisiveness, leadership, and teamwork abilities.
* Efficient performance, time management, and adaptability to changes.
* HBO/WO working thinking level and open-mindedness to new ideas.
* Knowledge of process flow and flexibility.
* Driving license.
Software Knowledge
* Interpreting 2D and 3D design models for piping, structural, mechanical, and civil engineering.
* Familiarity with software such as MS Projects, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, Inventor, Plant 3D, Advance Steel, Revit, Navisworks, Recap, CadWorx, Caesar II, and Bricscad is highly advantageous.
A driving license is required for this position.
