Job Description
* Validate predictions resulting from our AI platform CombinAge to identify novel drug combinations with potential utility in age-related diseases. This involves conducting in-depth explorations of existing scientific literature to understand the pharmacology of specific drug combinations.
* Collaborate with computational biology and AI research units to integrate insights from the AI platform into actionable experimental hypotheses.
* Identify appropriate disease models to establish Proof-of-Principle for selected drug combinations as predicted from our AI platform (CombinAge).
* Contribute to the development of a cutting-edge laboratory platform, including cell-based assays, to test novel candidate combination drugs and validate insights generated by CombinAge.
* Develop and write manuscripts.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A PhD in Pharmacology, Biochemistry, or a related field, with a minimum 3+ years of experience in preclinical pharmacology, drug discovery, or translational research.
* Extensive experience in drug (combination) research and systems pharmacology.
* Hands-on experience with in vivo studies, particularly using mouse models. Familiarity with other disease models such as C. elegans and Killifish is preferred.
* Knowledge of high-throughput screening methodologies and laboratory automation is a plus.
* Familiarity with integrating experimental results with computational tools or AI platforms is beneficial.
