Business Development Manager Benelux
Why we need you – About the role
We are looking for a motivated and analytical Business Development Manager Benelux to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the CSO and the C-team, contributing to various business areas such as Sales, Marketing and R&D.
What will be your impact: Key Responsibilities
* Key Account Development & Sales Growth – Identify and acquire new key accounts (wood dealers, distributors, landscapers, contractors, OEMs) while developing existing customers and promoting Kebony products in the Benelux region.
* Customer Training & Relationship Management – Train customers, distributors, and architects on Kebony products, ensuring they have the necessary sales and marketing tools while maintaining strong client relationships.
* Project & Sales Strategy Execution – Follow up on projects with all stakeholders, negotiate contracts, develop sales strategies with HQ, and implement them locally to maximize sales opportunities.
* Cross-Functional Coordination & Market Insights – Act as the key interface between customers and internal teams (logistics, marketing, HQ), provide market insights, assist R&D with technical requirements, and support marketing initiatives in Benelux.
* Reporting & Performance Tracking – Maintain accurate CRM records, provide weekly reports on activities, ensure P&L responsibility for the sector, and track sales targets and market trends.
* Travel & Industry Engagement – Participate in local trade fairs, international sales meetings, and frequent travel across the Benelux region to strengthen market presence and drive business growth.
What we are looking for: Experience, Qualifications & Skills
* >3 years’ previous work experience in sales, key account management, business development and experience in selling a high-end product or wood product.
* Strong Sales & Relationship Management – Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships, drive new sales, and deliver effective solutions to meet business goals.
* Independent & Solution-Oriented – Self-motivated, hands-on, and capable of working independently while proactively identifying and solving challenges.
* Effective Communication & Time Management – Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong multitasking abilities, and the capacity to prioritize tasks efficiently.
* Network within the building industry is an advantage
* Good MS office skills and experience with CRM
* Fluent in Dutch, French and English
