Your responsibilities?
As a Troubleshooting Scientist, you will perform analyses in the context of supporting pharmaceutical Manufacturing and pharmaceutical Development projects (spanning chemical and biological entities):
* Performs sample preparation such as isolation of foreign particle material.
* Performs analysis and develops analytical methods: optical microscopy, electron microscopy, elemental analysis, Infrared/Raman spectroscopy, spectro colorimetry, laser diffraction, …
* Analyzes results with critical mindset and ensures the consistency of these results with the context and all available data.
* Data interpretation in the context of Materials Science (understanding the connections between the underlying structure of a material, its properties, its processing methods and its performance in applications).
* Documents the performed activities (e.g. Electronical Lab Notebook, sample management system, …)
* Contributes to the writing of technical documents such as reports, user guides, guidance, …
* Participates in the creation of a material reference database.
* On equipment, performs calibrations and other necessary verifications in agreement with procedures and reference documents and assures the integrity and the maintaining of proper functioning of the instruments.
Your profile?
* Bachelor/Master in (bio-)chemistry and/or analytical chemistry or equivalent.
* Minimum 2-3 years lab experience (microscopy optical and electronic & spectroscopy) at least in analytical domain. Pharma background is an advantage.
* Team player, communication skills, compliant/rigorous meticulous, patient, flexible.
* Fluent in French, minimum writing skills in English.
