Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Assist in the planning and execution of events, including workshops, meetings, and congress.
2. Place and manage orders for events related needs, including equipment, supplies, catering, and others ensuring timely delivery and quality standards mindful of budgets.
3. Coordinate logistics such as venue booking, catering, transportation, and accommodation arrangements.
4. Liaise with vendors, invitees, and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of requirements.
5. Maintain and update event schedules and task lists.
6. If required, provide on site support during events, including setup, troubleshooting, and coordination.
7. Assist with post event evaluations and reporting.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Bachelor''s degree in relevant field, e.g., Project Management, Business Administration, Event Management, etc.
2. Minimum 3 years of experience in event coordination or project assistance/management, or a similar role.
3. Excellent organizational and problem solving skills, with attention to detail.
4. Experience in negotiating vendor contracts.
5. Outstanding communication skills and excellent knowledge of oral and written English, Dutch, or French.
6. Strong knowledge in MS Office, Jotform, project management tools like ex. com.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Prepared to travel (average travels 8 10 days/year).
