The Strategic Accounts Practice (SAS) within Proximus NXT IT stands as the largest and most vital division for the success of our new entity.
For the Strategic & Mission Critical Services, a sub-practice of the Strategic Accounts Practice, we are actively searching for a ‘Senior Project Manager’ specialized in IT infrastructure projects.
As a senior project manager, you are responsible for delivering projects on time and within budget to one of our key corporate customers in the public safety services. You act as the single point of accountability for our customer who understands our customer's business and has expertise in ICT solutions. You apply our project management methodology to enable a cost-efficient and timely delivery of the projects while keeping risks under control. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT project management and excellent leadership skills.
Role & Responsibilities:
* At the project start, you ensure to get a clear understanding of the customer’s requirements and on the Proximus NXT solutions to implement.
* You set up and manage the project implementation team, composed of 'non-dedicated' ICT resources, and supported by Pre-sales, Account & Product Managers.
* You create and get approval on the detailed project plan, considering the customer expectations and the availability of Proximus NXT resources, including the critical path of the project.
* You guarantee the quality of the project deliverables and make sure that the project planning and P&L is respected by closely following up on the implementation and taking pro-active actions to avoid deviations.
* During the entire implementation phase, you act as the main Proximus NXT point of contact for the customer as well as for the subcontractors and/or partners.
* You report on the progress by centralizing all relevant information and providing to-the-point communication towards both your customer and your management. You chair steerco meetings and project progress meetings.
* You anticipate potential risks to avoid implementation and P&L issues throughout the entire project phase by taking appropriate actions within the Proximus NXT organization and/or towards the customer.
* You are responsible for the financial result of the customer project by ensuring that the project remains within the agreed scope, quality, and budget.
* Before project closure, you hand over all relevant project information to the operational teams and get customer acceptance on the implemented solution.
* You support your Sales colleagues in strategic discussions with the customer.
Profile
Education: Master degree or bachelor in IT
Certifications: PMI or PMBOK or Prince2 or Agile
Languages: Fluent in English, Dutch and French
Professional Experience: At least 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure project management.
* Project Management Requirements: Demonstrated expertise in Project Management methodologies, including:
* Project Integration Management: Ability to coordinate all aspects of a project, ensuring that project goals are met.
* Scope Management: Proficiency in defining and controlling what is included in the project.
* Time Management: Expertise in developing and managing project schedules to ensure timely completion.
* Cost Management: Skills in budgeting and controlling project P&L.
* Quality Management: Ensuring that project deliverables meet the required standards.
* Human Resource Management: Effective resource allocation.
* Communications Management: Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement and reporting.
* Risk Management: Identifying, analyzing, and responding to project risks.
* Procurement Management: Managing procurement processes and vendor relationships.
* Stakeholder Management: Engaging and managing stakeholder expectations and involvement.
