About the Marketing Department
The Marketing Department is a central pilar in our commercially driven organization. The Marketing Team Consists of 2 Marketing Managers, 7 Brand Managers, 2 Graphical Designers and 1 Assistant. This department is essential for ensuring that the company’s products meet the needs of its stakeholders (patients, doctors and pharmacists) while driving business growth. By effectively communicating product benefits, fostering relationships, and adhering to regulatory standards, the marketing team plays a vital role in the overall success of the organization and contributes to better health outcomes for patients and improved support for healthcare professionals.
About Your Role
The Marketing Director plays a pivotal leadership role within the Belgian Leadership team, the Belgian Marketing Team, the international Consumer Healthcare Leadership Team and the international Communications Team. She/he is responsible for setting the strategic direction, managing team dynamics, ensuring the successful execution of marketing initiatives and best in class communication to all stakeholders. By fostering collaboration, developing talent, and driving performance, the Marketing Director helps the organization achieve its commercial objectives while effectively meeting the needs of its stakeholders. Whilst many of the brands and activations are locally developed, our strategies are based on the STADA strategic framework. Through a disciplined adoption of sharing and reapplying, the learnings and growth opportunities for the entire group are optimized by the Marketing Director.
How You Can Make an Impact
Strategic Leadership
4. Vision and Strategy Development: Define the overall marketing vision and strategy aligned with the company’s strategic framework & goals, focusing on product lines such as prescription medicines, OTC medicines, food supplements, and medical devices.
5. Bring the Purpose “Caring for People´s Health” to life, for all stakeholders, and develop a strong company-wide communication plan around it.
6. Communication: Best-in-class communication of the strategy, our Purpose and vision to all stakeholders (both internally and externally), in a timely matter, through the most impactful communication tools.
Team Management and Development
7. Overseeing Marketing Managers: Directly manage the two Marketing Managers, providing guidance and support in their roles to ensure that their teams are aligned with the overall marketing strategy and have excellence in execution
8. Talent Development: Mentor and develop Marketing Managers and their direct reports (Brand Managers, Graphic Designers, Assistants) to enhance their skills and career growth, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
9. Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with other departments such as sales, specialty care, regulatory affairs, product development, supply and finance and the international Stada colleagues to ensure cohesive marketing efforts and alignment on product launches and campaigns.
10. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders, including doctors, pharmacists, and patients, to gather insights and feedback that can optimise marketing strategies.
Budget Management
11. Resource Allocation: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively across various marketing initiatives and campaigns.
12. ROI Optimisation: optimise all marketing activities to maximise ROI.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
13. Tracking Marketing Effectiveness: Establish metrics and reporting systems to evaluate the performance of marketing initiatives and campaigns.
14. Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyse data and insights to make informed decisions, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results.
Brand Oversight
15. Brand Strategy Development: Guide the development of brand strategies for various brands, ensuring the right focus and ensuring that messaging is consistent and resonates with target audiences.
16. Quality Control: Ensure that all marketing materials produced by the team meet the company’s standards for quality and compliance with industry regulations.
Innovation and Market Adaptation
17. Trend Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify new marketing opportunities and innovations, in line with our Entrepreneurship value
18. Adaptation to Market Changes: Lead the team in adapting marketing strategies in response to changes in the market, regulatory environment, or consumer behaviour.

23. Master´s degree, preferably in sciences. Previous Marketing Management experience for min 10 years is a must. Experience in pharma and/or FMCG is a plus.
24. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence key stakeholders.
25. Proven track record of creating and implementing Marketing strategies that align with business objectives and drive positive business results.
26. Fluent in Dutch, French, English.
