JOB SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Field-Based Support: Drive patient-focused outcomes through impactful medical field interactions, supporting the company’s strategic goals.
* Insight Gathering: Collect key insights in pain management by engaging with healthcare professionals and analyzing market dynamics. Provide insights to the management team to support informed strategic decisions.
* Strategic Implementation: Create and execute local and regional medical strategies aligned with healthcare professional and patient needs, such as webinars, scientific events, and KOL mapping initiatives.
* Project Management: Lead and implement department-led projects with a focus on successful, collaborative partnerships with stakeholders.
* Clinical Support: Facilitate and support company and investigator-sponsored trials within the country according to regulatory guidelines.
* Point of Contact: Address unsolicited requests for information about company products and handle pharmacovigilance follow-ups as necessary.
* Training and Development: Conduct internal training sessions on medically relevant topics.
* Scientific Engagement: Represent the company at scientific meetings and congresses, and organize impactful local and regional scientific events.
* Information Gathering: Continuously gather scientific and medical information for ongoing medical strategy development.
* Stakeholder Relationship Building: Build and maintain meaningful, long-term relationships with key stakeholders. Segment and engage them to share medical data effectively and in alignment with their interests.
BACKGROUND & SKILLS:
* Scientific or medical background.
* Experience in Medical Affairs or Medical Information is a plus.
* 2-3 years experience in a hospital or sales function; over 4 years of field-based experience in the pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
* A comprehensive understanding of pain physiology is a plus.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and confidence with stakeholders.
* Bilingual Dutch / French with very good knowledge of English.
* Live in Belgium.
