Join a prestigious government department in Brussels on an initial 1-year contract with hybrid working flexibility.Your responsibilities:Handle service requests and provide 2nd-level incident responseSupport problem management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvementAssist in design, implementation, and configuration of network solutionsEnsure compliance with security best practices and network lifecycle managementManage network documentation and configuration changesDevelop and configure custom tools (dashboards, databases, scripts)Define and implement operational metrics for performance monitoringMigrate new systems into production and automate operational tasksYour experience:Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Networks, or Telecommunications8+ years of experience in large-scale network operationsStrong knowledge of incident management, troubleshooting, and service improvementsExperience with network monitoring tools and routing/switching technologies (BGP, OSPF, VLAN, VPNs, MPLS)Familiarity with firewalls (Cisco ASA, Check Point, FortiGate) and multi-vendor environments (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet)Knowledge of automation & scripting (Python, Ansible, Terraform is a plus)Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, NSE4) are a plus but not mandatoryFluent English (C Level)Nice to have skills:Experience with network automation & monitoring toolsKnowledge of cloud networking (AWS, Azure, hybrid-cloud)Understanding of container networking (Kubernetes, Docker)Exposure to network telemetry and SDN/virtualization (NSX, Cisco ACI)Ready to take the next step in your career?
