1. Oversee payroll accounting in collaboration with the Human Resources Department and the Belgian Social Secretariat.
2. Manage accounts receivable and payable, ensuring thorough documentation of all transactions.
3. Streamline financial processes and continuously enhance and document these procedures.
4. Handle payments, banking transactions, and manage the dunning process.
5. Generate monthly reports, forecasts, and ad-hoc financial analyses.
6. Collaborate with cost center managers to prepare the annual budget and monitor budgetary adherence.
7. Prepare annual financial statements and liaise with auditors.
8. Coordinate with external financial service providers to ensure compliance and accuracy.
9. Proficiency in English, with additional knowledge of German, French, or Dutch being advantageous.
10. Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in financial accounting.
11. Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
