Roles & Responsibilities
1. Provide expert advice and support to banking clients in identifying and managing financial risks, including credit, market, liquidity, operational, and regulatory risks
2. Assess and enhance clients' existing risk management frameworks, methodologies, and policies in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements (including Basel III/IV, EMIR, MiFID II, etc.)
3. Collaborate with client teams to develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies
4. Assist clients with risk assessments, stress testing, and scenario analysis to measure the impact of various risk factors on their financial stability
5. Support clients in meeting regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with Belgian and EU financial regulations
6. Develop and deliver presentations, reports, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders on risk management processes and improvements
7. Provide training and coaching to clients' teams on best practices in financial risk management
8. Keep up to date with developments in financial risk management practices, regulatory changes, and emerging risks within the banking sector

Skills & Qualifications
9. Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
10. Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial risk management within the banking sector
11. Strong understanding of Belgian and European financial regulations, including Basel III/IV, MiFID II, and other relevant legislation
12. Expertise in r isk assessment methodologies, stress testing, and scenario analysis
13. Familiarity with risk management software and tools
14. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
15. Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Dutch and/or French is mandatory
16. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
