As an HR Director at KPMG Belgium, your key responsibility will be the further development and enhancement of our HR strategy and delivery, leading a team of 35 HR professionals across various functions including talent acquisition, payroll & administration, mobility, reward, learning & development, and business partnering. In this leading role, you will:
* Manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle / experience: from recruitment and onboarding to career progression, performance management, learning & development, and offboarding.
* Lead the execution and continuous improvement of core HR processes, ensuring they are efficient and aligned with business needs.
* Oversee daily HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, and employee relations, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
* Facilitate the integration of technology and HR systems to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to better understand their challenges, needs, and concerns.
* Ensure comprehensive supportive action plans to enhance staff engagement & well-being and foster a positive and healthy working environment.
* Lead, manage, and coach your team to ensure high-quality delivery and continuous improvement towards industry best practice HR solutions.
* Monitor and secure the HR budget, striving for efficiency and cost optimizations.
* Report directly to the Head of People, with a close line to the CEO.
Skills & Qualifications
* Master’s degree in HR, Law, Tax, Organizational Psychology, or equivalent through relevant experience.
* At least 15 years in Human Resources, including a minimum of 10 years in a senior managerial role, preferably within a similar business environment.
* Track record in identifying, recommending, and implementing best practices to deliver efficient, consistent, and high-quality HR standards.
* Strong knowledge of Belgian Social Legislation.
* Strong problem-solving mentality, balancing the interests of employees and the company.
* High levels of professionalism, integrity, and emotional intelligence. Effective communication and persuasion skills, with a team player mindset.
* Fluent in Dutch, French, and English.
* Based at the HQ in Zaventem, combined with a flexible home working policy.
