Our client, it’s a multinational company that integrate solutions that help their customers be more efficient in the intralogistics operations by implementing turnkey systems that involve automation in hardware and software.
They are in a successful phase of expansion and growth and, therefore, they need to hire a Project Engineer (PE), is responsible for the installation and commissioning phase of LSI projects. Additionally, work will occasionally also encompass responsibilities in supporting the Systems Engineering group with layouts and manuals during the sale phase. A PE works closely with Project Engineering Coordinator (PEC) in daily planning, executing and reporting project deliveries.
General duties:
* Manages and supports on a day to day suppliers and customer installation needs
* Permanent communication flow with the Project Management and System Engineer specialists designated to the project.
* In the execution phase: Execution Phase: Responsible for onsite work from mechanical and electrical installation to commissioning. It means:
Supplier management during contract delivery
Validates civil works, coordinates and supervise the erection of warehouses structures, machinery and interconnection wiring.
Manages PLC and Software integration.
Responsible for onsite safety.
Requirements:
Degree in Engineering, electrical engineering is a plus
Highly proficient in English. (Spanish proficiency is a plus)
+3 years’ experience working with installations
Disposition to travel: ready and excited to travel intensively (60% approx.)
Willing to relocate to (if not already residing in) Madrid
