Our client, a leading company in the scientific industry, is seeking a Laboratory Technical Assessment Engineer to join their Global Physical Asset Management team based in the Brussels area. As a Laboratory Technical Assessment Engineer, you will play a crucial role in a dynamic environment, providing technical recommendations based on thorough analysis to ensure the optimal management of laboratory assets.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Execute inventory of laboratory equipment and identify critical assets.
2. Conduct in-depth analysis of equipment data, including maintenance maturity and obsolescence levels.
3. Perform root-cause analysis and escalate risks with appropriate recommendations.
4. Develop comprehensive reports, including investment plans and technical recommendations.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
1. Relevant degree in a scientific or engineering discipline.
2. Proven industry experience in laboratory technology and asset management.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with technical data analysis, including maintenance plans and root-cause analysis.
