About the Opportunity
We are looking for a talented and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at bpost. This key role will focus on expanding our B2B logistics initiatives in the HighTech industry.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives, market research, and strong relationship management to drive business growth and expansion.
Key Responsibilities
* Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify new business opportunities, including potential customers, competitors, and market trends.
* Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential business customers to drive long-term partnerships.
* Sales Strategy: Develop and implement an effective sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expansion.
* Negotiations: Lead negotiations with customers/prospects to secure contracts that meet the company's objectives.
* Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues from operations, marketing, and customer service to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
* Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management on progress, performance, and any challenges within the B2B logistics sector.
Requirements
* Experience: Proven experience in B2B logistics, particularly domestic (international experience is a plus).
* Languages: Sufficient proficiency in NL and Fr to conduct business development activities in both languages.
* Business Development: Experience in business development or hunting, preferably in the B2B logistics or transportation sector.
* Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes, ability to build strong relationships with business customers and partners, analytical ability to identify market trends and capitalize on business opportunities.
