Your Mission
1. Continue to open the European market, drive revenue generation for Optimy through qualifying and closing new business deals (carry an individual sales quota)
2. Prospect new potential clients by phone, email or social networks. Understand their needs and challenge their current solution. Demonstrate the ways of how our digital solution will impact your prospect’s operations
3. Negotiate and close contracts and pricing, become a specialist and networker in the field of Grant making, Volunteering and Sponsorship Management
4. Account expansion: drive new revenue through cross-sales in the Optimy existing customer base
5. Account based approach towards existing clients in order to drive referrals and open new doors (other teams/departments/regions, subsidiaries)
6. Expand and deepen our customer relationships beyond our existing users and build lasting relationships with other key stakeholders in the organization (teams, departments, entities, regions)
7. Manage the sales cycle in Europe from A to Z and develop the brand
8. Work closely with other teams (Marketing to boost inbound generation, Customer Success to generate cross sales deals, …)
9. Participate in strategic thinking and market analysis

Your Profile
10. You have experience selling and dealing with large enterprises/organizations in past roles
11. You have carried an individual quota and hit or exceeded your targets
12. You have 3+ years of first B2B technology sales experience
13. You are fluent in German and English.
14. Exhibit strong prospecting skills with a proven ability to self-generate new sales leads. This role requires initiative and resourcefulness in conducting market analysis, identifying potential clients, and independently engaging prospects to develop new business opportunities while managing an entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
15. Experience and knowledge in structured sales methodologies such as MEDDICC.
16. Familiarity with Sales CRM tools (ie. Hubspot) and other sales tools is a plus
17. Experience selling into Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Grant Management or Community Investment is an asset, but not required
18. Scale-up experience is a plus as past experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
19. You’re independent, entrepreneurial, hands-on, ambitious and have experience in a grass-roots business development role
20. You have an EU citizenship or a valid Belgian work permit
