Your new role
As our new Senior EHS and Sustainability Consultant you will be part of our dynamic Ramboll Belgium team comprising colleagues with various EHS and Sustainability expertise. You will have the opportunity to support our due diligence, compliance, soil and groundwater and sustainability services working closely together. You will be based in the Oudenaarde office and have the opportunity to work part-time from home.
Your key responsibilities will be:
* You will be involved in and exposed to a variety of EHS/Sustainability projects in Belgium and abroad.
* Projects will include (but not be limited to) EHS due diligence reviews, Phase I EHS site assessments, regulatory compliance audits, operational EHS management, soil and groundwater investigation and remediation projects, sustainability projects (e.g. decarbonization, ESG strategies,…), on-site EHS and sustainability support etc., for industrial, commercial and financial clients.
* You will work on projects independently and will be supported by younger colleagues.
* You will guide less experienced colleagues.
* You will ensure the work is undertaken to the highest possible standards.
* You will also get involved in business development, proposal writing and winning part of your own work.

About you

* MSc or BSc in a relevant environmental discipline (bio-engineer, civil engineer, (hydro)geologist, industrial engineer) or equivalent by experience.
* Driving license (Type B).
* At least 3 years of relevant EHS or Sustainability experience: EHS auditing, EHS Management Systems, operational EHS, site investigation and remediation, Sustainability.
* Familiar with EHS regulations and industrial/chemical manufacturing processes.
* Fluent in English with Dutch or French as a mother tongue.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
