Job Title: Finance & HR Director, EMEA

Role Description and Responsibilities:
This role involves overseeing key responsibilities across finance, human resources, and office management. The ideal candidate will combine financial leadership, HR management, office operations, and people management to support the organization's overall success and efficiency.
Financial Management:
* Develop and manage the company's financial plans, budgets, and forecasts in line with organizational goals.
* Implement a new ERP/HRIS system to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
* Prepare and present financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
* Oversee cash flow management to ensure adequate liquidity for daily operations and investment decisions.
* Control the budgeting process, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
* Conduct financial forecasting and assess future financial needs.
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations and tax laws, including liaison with external auditors, tax professionals, and regulatory bodies.
* Manage capital expenditures while implementing risk management strategies.
* Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with the broader business strategy.
HR Management:
* Lead recruitment efforts and manage the onboarding process for new employees.
* Draft and review employment contracts, ensure legal compliance, and manage contract renewals.
* Support the development and execution of training programs to enhance employee skills.
* Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and Belgian labor laws.
* Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans.
* Manage payroll, including liaison with external payroll providers, salary data communication, and HR documentation.
* Generate HR metrics and reports for management, ensuring legal compliance and mitigating risks.
* Maintain a complete and accurate HRIS system for all employee records in accordance with local laws and HR best practices.
Office Management:
* Supervise day-to-day office operations, ensuring smooth functioning of administrative tasks.
* Manage office budgets, facilities, and vendor relationships, ensuring cost-effectiveness and compliance with safety regulations.
* Oversee office security, health, and safety compliance, and inventory control.
* Manage technology resources and IT support to maintain office efficiency.
* Implement environmental sustainability practices to reduce the company's ecological footprint.
People Management:
* Supervise, motivate, and coach a team comprising two accountants, the IT manager, and receptionist.
Qualifications and Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess:
* Over 10 years of experience as a Finance & HR professional, preferably within a 20+ employees organization.
* Knowledge of and experience with Belgian finance and labour regulation.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
* Strong people and leadership skills, with experience in managing and motivating teams.
* Proven ability to be creative and flexible, as well as an effective listener, communicator, and conciliator.
* Full professional knowledge of English plus at least Dutch or French (ideally both) and excellent writing and presentation skills.
* An advanced degree in finance, or other related fields.
