Senior Full Stack Developer (Java) - 12 months - Brussels
Our important client is currently looking for a fullstack java developer for a 12-month contract based in Brussels. Rate is negotiable.

As a member of the team you analyze, develop and maintain functionalities (API’s, JavaScript Applications, CMS components) based on the needs of our organization.
Aside from pure developer experience the candidate should also bring relevant devops experience. He should maintain & further develop the devOps Toolchains that are used to deploy & operate the different components on Kubernetes (AKS) in Microsoft Azure.
Competency Proven Experience:
Java (with knowledge of versions 11 & 17) 5 years
Java EE (essentially Servlet/JSP) is a plus 5 years
Spring / Spring Boot 5 years
Spring MVC 5 years
Design and implementation of REST APIs 5 year
JAX-WS and JAX-RS 4 years
XML Processing 3 years
SOA principles (REST, SOAP) 4 years
JavaScript / Typescript 3 years
Hands-on experience with cloud deployments (Microsoft Azure/Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, …) 4 year
Vue.js or experience with similar framework is a plus
Responsive HTML/CSS development is a plus
Additional competencies / skills required:

You are a good communicator and can work efficiently and independently
You are not afraid from lead developer role (incl providing coaching to other team members when needed)
Experience with agile methodologies
Nice to have competencies
Experience with IntelliJ
Knowledge of Reactive programming
Knowledge of Kafka, Kafka Streams, …
Experience with Webpack and npm
Experience with Sass
Experience with CMS development (Knowledge of Magnolia CMS would be an asset)
Education and professional background:
Bachelor or Master Degree
5-7 years of experience as a full stack developer (java) or similar position
Languages:
Fluent in either Dutch or French
Fluent in English
