Job Description
Your role
As Product manager, you are responsible for designing and managing new developments. This ranges from designing products that our IT team will develop and designing Flexcity’s offering in emerging market segments such as batteries, e-boilers, wind/solar and electric vehicles.
As Product Manager, you will help deliver our Product Roadmap by creating functional descriptions, following up on development, and managing projects. You will interact with various stakeholders and link the business and our internal IT team.
You will become an internal expert in the valorization possibilities, technical characteristics and business cases involving these emerging will use this expertise, your strategic vision and on-the-ground commercial discussion with clients and partners to develop/expand Flexcity’s product offering and improve Flexcity’s market positioning with regard to these emerging technologies.
Depending on your affinity you will be able to grow more in the IT or commercial part of product development.
Your responsibilities
1. You will be part of the cross border Product Department
2. Work with the country managers, portfolio manager and product team to design and scope new functionality and energy services that the IT team will develop. This includes the creation of functional descriptions, product documentation and presentations.
3. You manage incoming development requests and follow up on the development of our IT team. This can include participation in the different agile ceremonies such as daily stand-up meetings, review meetings and planning.
4. Manage the development backlog
5. You become an expert in the valorization possibilities, technical characteristics and business cases involving emerging technologies.
6. You identify and select the suitable product/model to respond to the market’s need concerning the valorization of the flexibility of new technologies and help create a packaged offering in collaboration with our sales teams.
7. Take and follow up on the commercial discussion about new technologies.
8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies within the energy sector to ensure our products remain competitive.

16. You have experience in product management or in business development
