What you will do
As a Property Project Manager you are accountable for the successful realization of property development projects, ensuring that the business benefits are met. This means delivering the project to scope, time, cost, resources, quality and other defined targets. You are accountable for continuously reviewing the ongoing validity of the projects and to make recommendations of actions to the sponsor and/or steering committee. You liaise closely with main stakeholders, contractors, architects and consultants during each phase of the project.
You are responsible to secure compliance with the Project Steering Model (PSM) in all real estate property projects and to act on behalf of the sponsor and/or steering committee to realize the project’s business case.
1. In this job you are responsible to drive and ensure the successful realization of property development projects within cost, time and quality constraints. Your focus will be on Electrical (High Voltage) projects
2. You are accountable for continuously reviewing the ongoing validity of the projects and to make recommendations of actions to the sponsor and/or steering committee. You liaise closely with main stakeholders, contractors, architects and consultants during each phase of the project.
3. You are responsible to secure compliance with the Project Steering Model (PSM) in all real estate property projects and to act on behalf of the sponsor and/or steering committee to realize the project’s business case.
4. You are responsible to ensure that all requirements and objectives of the project phases are met and to manage the project team members. You follow up on progress and performance of the projects.
5. You evaluate and select local contractor for the projects in scope in close cooperation with Volvo’s purchasing team.
6. You are responsible for all project documentation, the process of orders and invoices relayed to the specific projects.
Your future team
You will be part of Volvo Real Estate BNL with 14 members and be based in Ghent. Our team takes care of the complete life cycle of properties in use by Volvo and works intensively together external professionals in the various fields of real estate. Our team is constantly supporting the expansions and major changes of the operations, delivering new facilities and making sure that all facilities in use maintain a high degree of quality.
Are you the one?
MSc/BSc in Engineering or equal by experience
7. Minimum 5 years work experience in Project Management
8. Structured, analytical and pragmatic profile
9. Show high level of integrity, build relationships and trust
10. Innovative, proactive, result oriented and passionate about work, with a strong continuous improvement mindset
11. Have a holistic view, act and think strategically, take ownership, drive to deliver added value
12. Good knowledge of leases, contracts, and construction practices.
13. Good verbal and written skills in English and Dutch.
