As the successful International Business Development Manager - Industrial Packaging - BNL & DACH, you will have the following responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development:
* Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand market share in Benelux, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
* Identify and engage new B2B prospects, including industrial manufacturers, logistics providers, and distributors.
* Conduct market research to uncover emerging opportunities and adapt sales strategies accordingly.
2. Client Relationship Management:
* Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Understand customer needs and provide tailored packaging solutions that optimize protection, cost efficiency, and sustainability.
* Conduct regular client visits, follow up on inquiries, and offer technical support to facilitate decision-making.
* Act as a trusted advisor, building long-term strategic partnerships with key accounts.
3. Sales Operations & Negotiation:
* Handle the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and quotation to contract negotiation and closing deals.
* Work closely with the technical and production teams to ensure feasibility and customization of solutions.
* Prepare and deliver price studies, proposals, and presentations to clients.
4. Collaboration & Internal Coordination:
* Coordinate with the design and engineering team to develop innovative packaging solutions that meet client specifications.
* Provide insights and feedback to the R&D team on market trends and customer demands for future product development.
As the successful International Business Development Manager - Industrial Packaging - BNL & DACH, you will have the following requirements:
* A Master Degree in Business Management or Technical field - or equivalent by experience
* At least 5y. of proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in industrial or technical solutions.
* Fluent in German, English, and Dutch (French is a plus).
* Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills to foster long-term client partnerships.
* Self-motivated and autonomous, with excellent time management and organizational abilities.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with internal teams.
* Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region for client visits and trade events.
