1. Be responsible for the effectiveness of the Quality processes (lean and efficient).
2. Management of warehouse-labeling-packaging operations/scheduling LMS for all GSK Bio clinical material (clinical vaccines, commercial vaccines competitors clinical material and documents), so as to cope with the demand.
3. Manage a team of supervisors and their related staff.
4. Ensures that the facility, equipment and staff are appropriately designed and trained to ensure production activities.
5. Warehouse management: inventory and ordering, reception management, internal distribution, shipping activities.
6. Labeling/packaging management: randomization process, blinding process, clinical coordination, labels preparation & approbation, packaging, labeling.
7. Responsible for the application of the GSKBio strategy and its development in his production unit.
8. Makes sure that the facility is properly managed in accordance with highest quality standards, including Security and Safety aspects. Ensures compliance of the operations with GMP and Authorities requirements. Monitors quality of the production in close collaboration with QC and take corrective actions when necessary.
9. Responsible to implement the Total Quality Management Process (TQM) in the facility.
10. Applies the recommended processes and continuously anticipates potential improvements of the current processes while assuring compliance with the Change Management procedures.
11. Responsible for representation of the Facility Activities during External Audits (FDA, WHO, Nat Health Authorities). Responsible to represent GSK towards visitors and local authorities.
12. Be a representative of the building in ICG teams.
13. Provide technical support to direct reports.
14. At least 5 years experience in vaccine production or specific production unit.
15. Advanced knowledge in supply chain management, processes, biopharmaceuticals technologies.
16. Full knowledge of GMP for biological products.
17. Knowledge of culture and purification processes is an asset.
18. Demonstrates full competence as a people manager.
19. Demonstrates technical expertise in own area.
20. Is up-to-date on the market best practice and their applications in area of expertise.
21. Fluent in spoken and written English.
