Our partners are seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to safeguard and optimize their infrastructure. This role combines operational support with project-based work to enhance security measures and drive improvements.
Role overview
50% Operations: Handle complex requests, improve processes, and strengthen cybersecurity.
50% Projects: Manage Firewall lifecycle, implement Sse (Secure Service Edge), oversee AlgoSec improvements, and support Sse migration.
Additional tasks:
Lead network security projects and implement Low-Level Designs (LLD).
Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Support business-as-usual (BAU) tasks while transitioning activities to the Center of Excellence (CoE).
Provide advanced troubleshooting and coaching for the CoE team.
Core technical skills
Palo Alto (Expert)
Manage Firewall lifecycle, installations, and Prisma Sse implementation
Firewall Rules (Advanced)
Configure networks, zones, and complex rules to support deployments
AlgoSec
Optimize Firewall rules and risk assessment using Firewall Analyzer and Fireflow.
Cisco ISE (Intermediate)
Transition NAC from open to closed mode and manage profiling for wired/wireless networks
Infoblox (Advanced)
Manage DHCP & IP configurations and collaborate on improvements.
Requirements:
Strong expertise in Palo Alto, Firewall Rules, AlgoSec, Cisco ISE and Infoblox.
Ability to lead projects and suggest improvements to existing technologies and processes.
Available for on-site presence at least 2 days per week.
