Internal sales engineer
We are looking for an internal sales engineer to join our sales team. As an internal sales engineer you will be responsible for the commercial and administrative support of the sales team and play a key role between the sales team and the internal departments.
Key responsibilities
* You convert marketing initiatives into tangible sales actions
* You prepare the yearly exhibition calendar and coordinate these exhibitions
* You convert sales outcomes (e.g. exhibition contacts,...) into sales actions
* You conduct initial calls, set up and schedule sales visits
* You analyse customer inquiries from a technical and commercial perspective
* You conduct price recalculations for existing products
* You review price calculations for new products or engineering services
* You prepare commercial proposals
* You keep frame order agreements up to date
* You closely follow-up on outstanding commercial quotations
* You review, process, confirm and follow up on new sales orders
* You are single point of contact in the post sales support
* You identify and escalate potential issues
* You actively maintain the CRM database (Teamleader, Odoo)
Profile we are looking for
* You are an excellent communicator and have strong commercial skills
* You are result driven and goal-oriented
* You can work both independently and collaboratively within a team
* You have a good logical and mathematical insight, are eager to learn and like to work proactively
* You establish long-term customer relationships
* You hold a bachelor degree in electronics or administrative / economical field and have minimum 5 years professional experience in similar role
* Next to Dutch you have a fluent knowledge of English and preferably also French
* You handle fluently the Office 365 suite
* You have working experience with a CRM and ERP system (e.g. Hubspot, Pipedrive, Teamleader, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Odoo,…)
This is a permanent position (fulltime), located in Kortrijk (Belgium).
