About the Role:
ConSol Partners is seeking a highly experienced Director of Bidding & Governance to join our client a leading service provider in its Ghent, Belgium office. This pivotal role will be responsible for overseeing all bidding activities and governance processes across the UK and Europe, ensuring strategic alignment with business objectives and driving best in class bid management practices.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will work closely with senior stakeholders to develop and execute a competitive bidding strategy that secures high value contracts and strengthens the companys market presence. You will lead a high performing team, foster innovation in proposal development, and ensure compliance with governance frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
Bid & Governance Oversight
* Lead and oversee all bidding processes and governance frameworks across the UK and Europe.
* Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and best practices in bid management.
Strategic Leadership
* Collaborate with European Leadership Teams to define and execute the companys bidding strategy.
* Identify new business opportunities and drive strategic bid decisions to support growth.
Team Leadership & Development
* Build, manage, and mentor a team of bid managers, analysts, and governance professionals.
* Foster a high performance culture focused on excellence in bid execution and compliance.
Bidding Excellence & Business Growth
* Drive best practices in bid writing, pricing strategies, and proposal development.
* Ensure that the company is recognized as a market leading provider of services.
* Lead the creation of compelling proposals that secure high value contracts exceeding 250 million.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
* Develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships, including with key clients, regulatory bodies, and industry partners.
* Work cross functionally with sales, legal, finance, and operations teams to align bidding strategies with overall business objectives.
Key Requirements:
Senior Level Experience: Proven experience as a Director or Senior Manager specializing in bidding, tendering, or business development.
Team Leadership: Strong background in managing and mentoring teams within a complex, multi regional business environment.
High Value Bidding Success: Demonstrated track record of securing strategic business wins exceeding 250 million.
