We are looking for a Process Technician to join our Engineering team at Lonza Bornem. The Process Technician strengthens the Process engineering organisation in order to support day to day changes in our production organization.
Key responsibilities:
1. Adjust process parameters in consultation with process engineers (instructions, use of follow up tools).
2. Organize the activities for production machine changes and special productions (size/bar changes, supros, special lengths).
3. Daily inspection and follow up of the hard gelatin capsule machines for quality and quantity (scrap/losses). Accordingly, implement the actions to be taken (dimensional control, parameters humidity, weights, HCM set point changes, etc.).
4. Maintain close contacts with production operators, mechanics and QA engineers, explain procedures and motivate production personnel.
5. Participate in quality teams and RFT projects.
Key requirements:
1. Experience in working as a production operator and having affinity with close and direct production follow up is key.
2. Experienced in working in a manufacturing environment.
3. Strong project development, implementation, and communication skills.
4. Ability to work independently, with guidance in only complex situations.
5. Highly organized and detail oriented.
6. Fluent in Dutch.
