* Align with Group external auditors on material accounting topics.
* Maintain Group Accounting Policies and Manual, including providing training to impacted finance staff globally.
* Coordinate the Group’s external audit during half-year and year-end close reporting in close relationship with the Group Accounting and Consolidation Director.
* Manage fees and appointments of external auditors across the Group, for consolidated activities and scope 1 and scope 2 entities.
* Monitor and support National Finance teams with timely completion of all statutory audits by May of the consecutive year.
* Track external audit findings and support local and Group Finance teams with remediation activities.
* Provide frequent updates on external audit status, fees, findings and corrective actions to the Audit Committee.
* Identify opportunities to optimize external audits at Group and local Component level.
Qualifications:
* Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or Engineering, from a leading university; MBA is considered a plus.
* Minimum 5-7 years of professional career in external audit, internal audit and/or financial controlling roles with increasing level & scope of responsibility.
* Technical accounting expertise around IFRS and ISA is required; Lux GAAP is considered a plus.
* Solid understanding of finance policies, processes and systems in a multinational environment.
* Strong project & change management skills.
* Team player with good interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
PERSONALITY:
* Self-starter, ownership and natural leadership.
* Pragmatic and “roll up sleeves” mentality.
