3D DRAM device characterization Engineer
What you will do
Dynamic Random Access Memory (DRAM) is a volatile memory used for temporary storage and quick access of the data being actively used or processed by the processor. With scaling of the DRAM for higher density, the cost per bit is saturating due to increasing processing complexity. For high density and cost effectiveness, the possibility of 3D integration of the DRAM device is being investigated. Imec is looking for a characterization Engineer with experience in transistor and DRAM characterization. The role consists of electrical characterization correlating to the process. Understanding of device operations and physics will be essential. The learning drives subsequent material/process/device innovations, targeting device performance optimization.
