Responsibilities:
1. Perform the role of an Enterprise Architect (responsible for projects and programmes) across the value stream Logistics and Quality.
2. Capture the strategic context (vision/mission/goal), business capabilities, value streams, and implications of the business strategy on operations and IT and represent them in Archimate.
3. Validate Architecture and ensure fit for purpose architecture is aligned and agreed across all IT stakeholders.
4. Create Reference Architecture / Blueprints, Roadmaps.
5. Ensure all documentation is done in Archimate representation within modelling tool.
Support:
1. Understand the business requirements and strategy.
2. Agree and validate proposed solution, taking into account the existing Reference Architecture, cost and feasibility.
3. Define Reference Architecture and Roadmaps that are aligned between IT and business stakeholders.
4. Strong communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
5. Drive consensus across different IT departments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Understand and validate solution architecture, within guidelines of Enterprise architecture framework.
2. Reach consensus on the proposed solution within EA and dev teams.
3. Follow up on implementation and quality.
Requirements:
1. Mandatory to have had a strong technical background with hands-on experience within the development lifecycle and solution architecture experience.
2. Have played the role as an Enterprise Architect working along with Solution Architects to ensure fit for solution delivery.
Experience Required:
1. Cloud based solutions (SAAS/PAAS).
2. Azure and Amazon Cloud technologies.
3. Identity Management Solutions, Authentication / Authorization.
4. Heroku, Kafka, Event Driven Architecture.
5. Web Tiers (Apache / Jetty / IIS / Javascript frameworks / HTML5).
6. Java.
7. Service Tiers (Spring / Hibernate).
8. Database solutions (RDBMS (Oracle, MS SQL, DB2) / MongoDB, ElasticSearch).
9. Middleware (Camel, ActiveMQ, CXF).
10. Enterprise Integration Patterns.
11. RESTful web services / JSON / JMS.
12. Development tooling (Maven, SVN, Confluence, JIRA, Bamboo…).
