The Role


As a Mechanical Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design, testing, and improvement of automotive components and manufacturing processes. You’ll work with high-performance materials, automated production lines, and advanced testing equipment to ensure our vehicles meet the highest quality and safety standards.


Your Responsibilities

✅ Design & optimize mechanical components for vehicles, including chassis, drivetrain, and structural elements.

✅ Work with CAD software (Siemens NX, CATIA, SolidWorks) to develop and refine mechanical designs.

✅ Collaborate with production teams to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality.

✅ Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and other simulations to validate designs.

✅ Work with CNC machines, robotic welding systems, and automated assembly lines to enhance precision and production speed.

✅ Support testing teams with vehicle crash tests, durability testing, and NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) analysis.

✅ Ensure compliance with ISO/TS 16949 and other automotive industry standards.

✅ Troubleshoot mechanical failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.


What We’re Looking For

✔ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.

✔ Experience in automotive component design, manufacturing, or testing.

✔ Strong knowledge of materials science, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics.

✔ Proficiency with CAD software (NX, CATIA, SolidWorks, or similar).

✔ Experience with CNC machining, 3D printing, or robotic systems is a plus.

✔ Knowledge of automotive standards (ISO/TS 16949, Euro NCAP, etc.).

✔ Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

✔ Fluent in Dutch or English (French is a plus).
