* Ensure alignment between the framework and the company’s strategic priorities.
* Act as the ambassador for data governance—communicating the framework clearly to both business and IT audiences, including leadership.
* Support and coach stakeholders during the rollout, with particular attention to enabling business roles such as Data Owners and Data Stewards.
* Define KPIs to track framework maturity and effectiveness.
* Facilitate and lead data governance communities across the organization.
* Ensure governance-related deliverables (e.g., data catalog, quality tools) are maintained, accurate, and up-to-date.
* Drive governance initiatives for master data management.
* Address key data quality and privacy concerns and lead remediation planning.
* Promote data literacy through tailored training and enablement initiatives.

* Master’s degree or equivalent through experience.
* Certifications such as DAMA, CIGO, or AAIM are a strong plus.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to simplify complex concepts and define realistic objectives.
* Able to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical audiences, including executives.
* Comfortable working across risk, compliance, and data architecture domains.
* Fluent in Dutch, French, and English (active knowledge of at least Dutch or French required).
