SAP Operate is part of Deloitte Consulting's SAP practice and provides SAP application management, continuous improvement, and innovation services to Deloitte's clients using SAP. With SAP Operate, we build long-term relationships with key stakeholders from our clients' IT and business organizations to help them derive business value from their SAP applications, continuously optimize SAP process performance, and manage incidents and service requests according to agreed service levels.
As a Senior SAP Service Delivery Consultant, you will:
1. Be the first point of contact for customers experiencing technical issues, ensuring high satisfaction through timely and effective resolution of issues.
2. Drive mid- and long-term evolutionary maintenance, enhancement, and innovation plans in one or more functional areas, such as SAP Finance, Procurement and/or Sales.
3. Work closely with client stakeholders, external parties and cross-functional teams to plan comprehensive solutions to business and technical challenges. You will provide advice and solutions, collaborating with Deloitte's nearshore and offshore teams for incident management, service request and change request handling, and continuous improvement activities.
4. Contribute to the improvement of customer applications by participating in testing, maintaining documentation, facilitating knowledge transfer, and providing training.
The Senior SAP Service Delivery Consultant role is unique in that it offers the opportunity to deepen expertise in an SAP functional area, to work directly with key client stakeholders, to become an expert in how the client runs its business processes, and to rely on the extended expertise of colleagues from the SAP practice in Belgium and the delivery centers. In addition, this role offers the opportunity to grow into a Service Delivery Manager role. Occasional travel may be part of the job. Let's talk about you To be part of our team as a Senior Consultant, you must:
5. Have at least 4 years of proven work experience in SAP Finance, Procurement and/or Sales, with a strong understanding of the related processes within SAP.
6. Be fluent in English plus French or Dutch.
7. Have excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical information for non-technical audiences.
8. Hold a Master Degree preferably in Business or Industrial Engineering, Computer Sciences or Economics.
9. Demonstrate analytical skills and strong problem-solving abilities, with a detail-oriented approach to diagnosing and resolving issues.
10. Have the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently to deliver results.
11. Demonstrate proactivity, a self-starter attitude, with a willingness to take initiative and propose solutions to enhance application reliability and quality.
In order to excel at your job you will develop the following skills and having previous experience is considered as a plus
12. Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours sporadically to accommodate client planning.
13. Previous experience in SAP application management.
14. Knowledge and experience in ABAP, integrations, Fiori, ITIL processes and cloud is beneficial.
15. Familiarity with other SAP modules. Certifications in SAP modules are highly regarded.
