About the Job
The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering analytical products including analyses, dashboards, insights, and recommendations. You'll collect, analyze, and present data to improve strategic decision-making and track the benefits unlocked by the data products.
* Conduct analysis on complex retail data, measuring and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Support business stakeholders and regional data analysts by providing guidance and support.
* Create dashboards to track adoption and business impact of features and data products launched.
* Dive deep into complex business problems and provide insightful recommendations.
* Partner with cross-functional teams on implementation.
* Collaborate with data science, data analytics, and product managers on planning, goal setting, and prioritization.
* Improve data quality, data analysis, and business debugging with the data and engineering teams.
* Communicate complex data insights effectively to audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.
About You
We're looking for someone with:
* 3+ years of professional experience analyzing complex data, drawing conclusions, and making recommendations.
* Strong applied data visualization experience, preferably with Looker and PowerBI.
* Experience extracting and manipulating large datasets from relational databases using SQL (Google BigQuery, MSsql, dbt).
* Coding skills in at least one statistical or programming language (R or Python preferred).
* Hands-on experience working with big data, such as sales, inventory management, and planning.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal skills.
* A degree in economics, statistics, data science, or engineering (Masters is a plus).
