We are looking for an ERP Business Partner with strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to act as an internal consultant, optimizing ERP functionality and ensuring business processes are effectively integrated. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of logistics and/or construction industries, as these domains are key focus areas for this role.
Key responsibilities
ERP functional expertise & business process optimization
Translate business requirements into ERP solutions, ensuring alignment with Business Central best practices
Configure and maintain ERP functionalities within the Plant and Logistics domain
Set up and manage configuration tables to support operational efficiency
Continuously identify opportunities for process optimization within the ERP system
Implementation, testing & integration
Define and implement functional unit tests and end-to-end testing scenarios
Ensure proper cross-functional integration and data consistency
Collaborate with stakeholders to define data migration and interface requirements
Document and implement ERP workflows using UML, BPML, and sequence diagrams
Support & training
Act as the go-to expert for Business Central within the Plant and Logistics domain
Train and guide key users and SMEs on best practices for ERP utilization
Assist in the creation of training materials and conduct internal workshops
Stakeholder collaboration & reporting
Work closely with project managers, business leaders, and IT teams to align ERP capabilities with business needs
Provide regular progress updates and escalate risks or issues as needed
Maintain and update functional and technical documentation
Required qualifications
Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (functional configuration, deployment, and optimization)
Proven ability to translate business requirements into ERP functionalities
Industry experience in logistics and/or construction is a major asset
Knowledge of ERP best practices, integration, and process automation
Experience in data migration, reporting, and Business Intelligence tools
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
