Job Description:
Within the Technical Directorate, the Technical Product Support department is in charge of supporting airlines for in-service aeronautics structures.
As a member of the team, your mission consists of calculating and designing structural repair solutions, either on metallic or on composite structures, and issuing associated technical documents. You will gather involved departments' resources to develop innovative solutions and define technical instructions. You will support all Sonaca products for the airlines through our main customers and also internally at the Sonaca repair station.
After acquiring sufficient experience, you will be part of a 24/7 support team ensuring continued support in turns.
Profile:
1. You are a (M/F) Mechanical/Aeronautical engineer. Experience in the aeronautics environment (structural repair, etc.) and in fatigue & damage tolerance calculations is an asset.
2. You are bilingual in French/English and possess strong communication skills, easily making contact with customers. You have a synthesis mind and can work both as a team member and autonomously, able to assume responsibilities and make decisions in urgent situations. You are flexible and motivated to take up challenges.
3. You have good knowledge of MS Office tools and thorough knowledge in MS Excel & VBA. Knowledge of FEM software (SAMCEF/Nastran), Catia V4/V5, and Unix workstations is a strong asset. You can read technical drawings.
