As a Freelance Controlling Specialist, you will be partly responsible for supervising our Internal Controls (ICS) across the organization. This means that you will be in contact with all departments within our company. In addition, you will actively contribute to financial control topics, including analyzing margins and P&L effects, as well as presenting the facts behind the numbers. You will also be involved in risk control, sales control, treasury, and general reporting activities. You will create ad hoc analyses, consider optimizing the reporting process, and support management.
More specifically, your tasks will include:
1. Together with your colleagues, you manage the monitoring of ICS within our organization and share responsibility for accurate reporting to our management and headquarters.
2. In collaboration with the other controllers, you ensure that the monthly closing is completed on time, and you bear your own responsibilities in this process.
3. You work as a team on the forecast and budget cycles. You mainly process the available portfolio data for this. In addition, you work with various departments within the company to gather the necessary input and make the correct translation from operational planning to financial planning.
4. You actively participate in the development and optimization of financial reporting and make the translation from report to conclusion.
5. In addition to internal relationships within our company, you will also build relationships with our group importer and colleagues at the Munich headquarters.
