Job Overview
Jensen Hughes is one of the largest fire safety engineering consultancy firms in the world and the largest in Europe with offices located in Belgium, Finland, Italy, and the UK & Ireland. Our reputation for providing innovative, design focused solutions has made us the consultant of choice for many of Europes leading property clients.
We are currently seeking an experienced Code Consultant specializing in Building and Life Safety. The role can be based at any of our growing offices across Belgium.
We are looking for a motivated individual to work in all aspects of life safety with a strong focus on building codes and interpretation of life safety requirements. We offer excellent compensation and encourage education and growth opportunities.
Responsibilities
1. The successful applicant will ideally have a well rounded background in building and life safety code consulting. The role will involve collaboration across multiple teams and disciplines for highly visible projects around the world.
2. Key tasks will be providing best in class technical solutions to architect/engineering design teams and installation contractors.
3. Management and implementation of a wide variety of life safety and fire safety related consulting projects.
4. Evaluate projects for compliance with egress, fire resistance, interior finishes classification, occupancy, fire safety systems requirements.
5. Satisfy client needs and expectations by completing assigned tasks on schedule and within budget.
6. Preparation of project related technical reports.
