Position Overview:
An exciting full-time opportunity is available for a Sales Engineer to manage sales activities across European and American markets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct market research to understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions in the photonics sector.
* Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with organizational goals.
* Identify and establish relationships with new clients while maintaining and strengthening ties with existing customers through regular visits, ensuring sales targets and timely payments are met.
* Gather and organize client information, maintain databases, and provide comprehensive reports in line with company policies.
* Manage communication, negotiations, contract execution, and pre- and post-sales support for key accounts.
* Address client inquiries and manage tasks assigned by senior leadership.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Master’s degree (or higher) in electronic engineering, physics, or a related field, with a focus on optics or photonics.
* 1-2 years of experience in areas such as factory automation, PLC, fiber optics, passive products, silicon photonics, or integrated photonics.
* Demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
* Knowledge of European markets, with existing customer networks and familiarity with supplier operations in the region.
* Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to evolving roles and company requirements.
* Proficiency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Dutch, French, or German is advantageous.
