Job Description
The Electrical R&D Engineer is responsible for the design of new standard concepts for our product group of mobile racks and 1D shuttles. You will supervise projects from analysis to final realization.
Tasks & Responsibilities
* You report directly to the head of R&D and work closely with your colleagues on automation projects.
* You work on optimization and analysis of existing products and solutions and think along towards further improvements and new products.
* As an electrical engineer, you will be responsible for the design of new standard concepts for our product group of mobile racks and 1D shuttles. You will supervise projects from analysis to final realization. Your tasks also include testing, debugging, creating manuals and providing training both internally and to end-users.
* You make electrical diagrams of installations of projects. You discuss your concepts with our customers and our partners and/or subcontractors.
* You keep abreast of the latest technology.
Qualifications
Profile
* You have a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
* You have preferably 5 years of experience in a similar role
* You have a thorough knowledge of electricity: low, medium and high voltage
* You have strong affinity with electrical systems and PLC (Siemens) and/or Matlab
* You have the knowledge of Ethernet and Profibus standards
* You can work with AutoCAD and EPlan
* You are a teamplayer and dynamic and you take initiative
* You are fluent in Dutch and English. French is a big plus.
