jobdetails As IT Support Technician, you are the initial point of contact for troubleshooting server hardware, software, desktop, laptop, printer and peripheral problems. You will perform routine and emergency maintenance on servers, switches, and phone systems for local facility and remote facilities.

- Install, configure, and maintain servers, switches, and other enterprise equipment
- Install and configure desktop and laptop computers, networks and direct attached printers
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
- Assist and mentor first-level helpdesk technicians
- Assist other IT staff members in the implementation of major system changes, network redesign and system integrations
- Answer staff questions, concerns and issues in person, by phone, and via ticket system
- Work with vendors to resolve issues and bring about product enhancements
- Log and document activities and information using helpdesk software
- Resolve user issues, requests and tickets submitted through the helpdesk system

- You have a bachelor degree in IT, or equivalent certifications
- You have at least two years of experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of: network protocols including TCP/IP, Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office products, group-based access control and file/application permissions principles, telephony concepts and equipments
- You are able and willing to travel to other facilities at least 2 times per quarter to assist in projects, implementations and preventive maintenance
- You are able to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical colleagues
- You are fluent in English and are able to read and understand (technical) documents in Dutch
