Job Title: Energy Risk and Sourcing Advisory - Senior Manager
Function: Advisory - Senior Manager
* You are responsible for further developing the KPMG energy management and energy sourcing practice in Belgium, primarily in terms of service offering and go-to-market initiatives.
* Operationally manage energy management projects, encompassing the articulation of energy strategies and end-to-end execution of corporate Power Purchase Agreement activities.
* Develop new value propositions that emerge from trends in the energy market, addressing customer challenges and leveraging insights from other practices at KPMG while utilizing your in-depth experience of the energy market.
* Seek and actively manage relationships within the energy management ecosystem, including technical engineering desks and energy management tools.
* Operationally coordinate a team of highly motivated professionals and provide on-the-job training in energy market mechanisms to our team of young professionals.
* Build and maintain your internal network within KPMG, both nationally and internationally, to raise awareness regarding the value proposition and co-create opportunities.
Skills & Qualifications:
* 10 years or more of work experience in the Energy Sector or in Energy management, with the majority of the experience related to the Belgian/European energy market.
* You have an academic diploma.
* Demonstrable conceptual and/or strategic work experience.
* You have knowledge of energy risk management, energy pricing, balancing, corporate Power Purchase Agreements, and green molecules.
* You are a native Dutch speaker with a good command of the English language; knowledge of French is optional.
